Homelab Setup

My Homelab is a dedicated environment for experimenting with server technologies, networking, and self-hosted services. It currently runs on repurposed hardware, featuring a Proxmox VE hypervisor to manage virtual machines and LXC containers. Key services include a Plex media server for streaming, Immich for photo and video management, and Samba for network file sharing. Storage is managed with a 6TB ZFS pool configured for data redundancy. This setup allows for continuous learning in system administration, network configuration, Docker containerization, and exploring various open-source applications in a safe, isolated environment. Notably, the very website you are viewing is also self-hosted within this Homelab, showcasing its real-world capabilities.
